Rehearsing? Yeah, Rehearsing.

This week.... let's talk about all this rehearsing I've asked you to do over the last past couple of months. It actually occurred to me that most presenters don't actually know how to rehearse, or if they do, they don't do it as often as they should.

Here's the hard truth - if you're going to keep improving your speaking skills you must rehearse. There is no shortcut. You can't expect to "run through it in your head" and kill it when you get onto the stage. You cannot expect to bring down the house with a killer closing if you haven't ever delivered the entire closing out loud... at full volume... with full energy... you just can't.
