How to craft a perfect professional speaker sales process

Our first sales process was complicated. We created a dozen stages each sale needed to flow through before we got to a signed speaker agreement. We created questionnaires each lead was supposed to receive and respond to, and it wasn't working.

So. We refined it.

We cut the sales stages down by half and started using automated task rules to make sure we didn't miss anything. But sill, deals moved slowly and rarely closed.

So, we refined it. Again.

We decided to nix ALL of the "automated" email interactions. We ditched the questionnaires, and we killed a bunch of automated tasks.

Suddenly, our deals started closing in weeks instead of months. Our average speaker fee increased by 18%, and we closed more gigs than ever before.
